At IFCCI, we believe recognition is more than an award; it is a benchmark of professionalism, integrity, and responsibility. MMOWA 2025 is set to honour the top 100 wealth advisors who are shaping Malaysia’s financial future.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 (Bernama) -- The Malaysia Most Outstanding Wealth Advisor Awards (MMOWA), founded by the National Consumer Action Council (MTPN), has entered a new era of recognition through a landmark partnership with the International Financial Consultant Certified Institute (IFCCI).

Previously positioned as a consumer recognition award, MMOWA has evolved into a prestigious accolade acknowledging the achievements of Malaysia’s top wealth advisors. Unlike certifications that test examination results, MMOWA highlights proven excellence, ethical conduct and tangible impact within the financial industry.

The 2025 edition reflects Malaysia’s fast-changing financial landscape in the digital economy and global integration. MMOWA will honour professionals across eight fields: financial trading, wealth management, insurance and risk advisory, loan and credit consulting, real estate, corporate finance and investment banking, mutual funds and capital markets, as well as tax and estate planning.

Over the years, MMOWA has celebrated advisors who raised industry standards, including Chong Mok Yong of Rockwills International Group for advancing estate planning awareness; Alan Soh Soon Huat of De Infinity Group for leadership in insurance and protection; and Chong Ling Ling of Promaxs Wealth Advisory for her professionalism and commitment to excellence.

Speaking at the launch of the 2025 edition, IFCCI President Prof. Dato’ Dr. Kingston Chang emphasised the transformation:

“Through MMOWA, we acknowledge the real achievements of advisors who have already made a difference. It is not merely an award—it is an industry benchmark that recognises professionalism, integrity and responsibility. With IFCCI’s involvement, MMOWA is now aligned with the global movement towards higher standards, preparing Malaysia’s advisors to thrive in a digital and interconnected world.”

By combining MTPN’s foundation in consumer protection with IFCCI’s expertise in education, research and certification, MMOWA gains new depth as both an honour and a professional reference point. While MTPN ensures the award protects public interest, IFCCI strengthens its credibility, positioning MMOWA as a respected industry benchmark.

MMOWA 2025 not only recognises past excellence but also calls for Malaysia’s financial advisors to embrace higher standards. As the country advances in the global financial community, the award assures that the nation’s most outstanding wealth advisors embody not just success, but also integrity and service to society.
