Bhd. (“Remedi”) to co-develop digital health and wellness solutions for health tech small and medium enterprises (“SMEs”). This strategic partnership positions CIMB as both an ecosystem enabler and innovation partner, driving technology-led financial solutions across high-growth sectors. Formed as part of CIMB’s Digital Labs Innovation Programme (“the Programme”), this is designed to embed financial services within the digital platforms used by SMEs. Remedi is a certified provider of Electronic Medical Records (“EMR”) and digital health solutions which offers a cloud-based clinic management system that enables healthcare providers to optimise clinic operations and enhance patient care. Through this collaboration, CIMB and Remedi will co-develop embedded financial solutions directly within Remedi’s digital infrastructure that is tailored to the needs of Remedi’s clients – which includes clinics, healthcare providers and pharmaceutical suppliers. With the roll-out, the Bank plans to on board more digital providers nationwide to accelerate the growth of the health-tech industry.

With the partnership, CIMB will play an active role in developing banking optimisation roadmaps to support the integration of both organisations’ ecosystems allowing seamless access to digital tools and embedded financial services. Through this integration, it aims to enable healthcare businesses using Remedi’s platform to access CIMB’s solutions such as virtual cards to support supplier payments and procurement, along with a suite of financial services including transactional lending, merchant acquiring and virtual account services, directly within Remedi’s operating model. These embedded capabilities will help healthcare SMEs improve operational efficiency, strengthen financial management and scale more effectively in a digital-first environment.
The collaboration will also extend the reach of Remedi’s digital solutions to healthcare SMEs within CIMB’s network, enhancing healthcare operators’ operational capabilities, digitise their services and accelerate their digital transformation.
