Awantec Wins 2026 ASOCIO Digital AI Award for Transforming AI Literacy in Higher Education

ASOCIO, the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization, is a premier regional ICT federation connecting technology associations and industry stakeholders across 24 member economies.

The award recognizes Awantec's nationwide initiative, "Accelerating AI Literacy in Malaysian Higher Education," delivered alongside the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). Deployed across 20 public universities, the program empowers students and faculty with modern AI tools. Through Pendidik AI (Google AI Pro), educators can enhance teaching, research, and academic workflows, while Siswa AI (Gemini Notebook Enterprise) equips students with practical skills in research, information synthesis, and critical thinking.
