Leading the Group’s achievements is its first-ever global recognition as
The World’s Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility, making Maybank one of only two Asia-headquartered banks to receive a global award this year. This highlights Maybank’s leadership in embedding Social Impact across its operations in advancing financial inclusion, supporting community development, promoting responsible financing and strengthening environmental diversity anchored by Social Financing and Social Empowerment initiatives.
At the regional level, Maybank received three new recognitions, namely
Asia’s Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion and
Best Bank for ESG. Showcasing its continued commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace, and integrating environmental, social and governance principles into its business strategy and operations.
Maybank also took home
ASEAN’s Best Bank for Large Corporates, reflecting its strong Global Banking franchise. Amid growth in intra-ASEAN trade, Maybank clients are expanding regionally. In Malaysia, Maybank continued its strong track record by securing
Malaysia’s Best Bank for a record seventh time since first receiving the award in 2018. Maybank also won
Malaysia’s Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion,
Best Bank for ESG, and
Best Bank for Large Corporates. Meanwhile, Maybank Investment Bank was recognised as
Malaysia’s Best Investment Bank for Debt Capital Market (DCM).
Beyond Malaysia, Maybank’s overseas franchise in ASEAN was recognised under
Singapore’s Best for Research,
Cambodia’s Best International Bank,
Thailand’s Best for Research, and
Best for Securities Services.
